Announcement content for Westlake Lacrosse Club

SEAN LINDSAY’S LACROSSE ACADEMY is composed of clinics that are offered to players in grades 3rd through high school. The clinics will be similar to semi-private instruction that will consist of small groups. The clinics will focus on players learning, and ultimately mastering skills such as: shooting, dodging, and stick work. Each drill within the clinic is specifically tailored to simulate “game-like” situations. In addition to clinical skills, the academy is designed to greatly enhance the player’s strategic understanding of the game of lacrosse.

These clinics are specifically designed by Sean Lindsay. Sean is currently Director of Player and Coaching Development for the Westlake Lacrosse Club, and has coached youth in the Conejo Valley for over 5 years. Sean just wrapped up his 6th consecutive MLL season last summer (2009), and is now signed on with the LXM PRO tour which is in its inaugural season. LXM PRO is taking the top 40 lacrosse players in the world to participate in this new, innovative, and very modern concept of a marriage between sports and entertainment. Sean is a former Division-1, Collegiate All-American from Syracuse University (2001- 2004). These are merely a few examples of an abundance of experience that Sean has in the world of lacrosse.
